The "Biometry" (from Greek world Bios = Life and Metros = Counting
or Measure) is science that studies the behavioral variable
measurement, through mathematical and statistical methodology.
The human biometrics data are relatives to different kinds of
behavior or characteristics of human body. The skull size and
frame conformation, proportionally among its parts, are the
meaning studied variables in the biometry history.
Actually, the most part of scientific community and company
research is dedicated to study the variables that allow a strong
human identification.
Identification biometric techniques have the purpose to detect
a human basing on distinguishing physiological or behavioral
characteristics, not changeable. Following are the variables
frequently studied: fingerprint, hand and face geometry, iris
conformation and voice tonality. |
