Bottom Cars Detecting and Anomalies Inspection
Project
The project is about automatic system fulfillment to control
passing vehicles in order to detect hidden objects on the
bottom cars.
Solution
The described
solution is a bottom cars recognize advanced system with infrared
cameras. This solution is referred to special cameras applications
which use infrared rays to acquire a gray level 3D image.
This solution is different than other once thanks to innovative
cameras applied; these can detect difference between humid
and murky bottom, an object with a static volume. Through
these image, the solution can recognize the object geometry
detected. The cameras have 500x500 pixels resolution and 35°
bevel obtaining an accurate resolution. The cameras are located
50 cm full-depth, managed and data acquired by personal computer,
cars pass through monitored areas without stopping, maximum
speed allowed is 30Km/h.
This solution has to be installed in a equipped area with
all necessary infrastructures, that are the location to install
the cameras and this location has to be equipped about main
plant to guarantee the correct functioning of entire system.
The technology based on infrared cameras doesn't need illumination
plants to detect cars and objects and analysis can be realized
in any light conditions. This solution needs few seconds to
acquire and analyzing data and verification can begin immediately
when an alarm is detected. From this introduction, it's possible
understating that this solution is without parallel; this
technology is used for long time about active safety where
terrorist actions are common.
